for freedom, egaliter….and brotherhood

I have been concerned for a long time about where the “religious right” has been headed. I worried about it when it began actually. I know Jesus and I love Him. Their Lord is not like mine. Mine is loving. Theirs is not so much. If they are right then I am left.

A retired educator, student of classical, pre-history, and medieval history, having studied 12 (yes, 12!) languages, independent-minded now because of these elements of my history, I tend to lead rather than follow, inspire rather than get inspired, and prefer to seek the uncomfortable, rather than the comfortable, truth. I believe that for the last 5000 years, we have started on a progressive human development towards some God-given destiny
